Anne Hughes

Anne Hughes age 68, of Cleveland passed away Thursday November 5, 2015. 

Mrs. Hughes was born in Blairsville, Ga the daughter of the late Joe and Annie Thomas Underwood.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Horace Underwood.  Mrs. Hughes was of the Baptist faith. It’s not the size of the girl in the fight: it’s the fight in the girl.   

Survivors include daughter and son in law, Rhonda and Lamar Hester, Helen; son and daughter in law, Greg and Kristi Dorsey, Cleveland; brothers and sister in laws, Harold and Janette Underwood, Dale and Marcella Underwood, Jeff and Tracey Underwood, Curtis and Renee Underwood; sisters and brother in laws, Joan and Wayne Hughes, Judy and Jackie Adams, Linda and Bill Floyd, Sandy and Marvin Hills, Vicki and Kent Stewart; sister, Kathleen Cook; grandchildren, Brandon and Kimberly Hester, Brittany Hester and Zach Wallace, Tanya Dorsey and Andres Marcos, Levi Dorsey, Jordyn Autry, Jack Autry. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Brandon Hester and the Rev. Jody Winkler will officiate.  Interment will be at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends 2-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
