Dexter Dean McBrayer, age 31, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015. Dexter was a wonderful father who adored his wife and children. He loved candy, especially Reece’s peanut butter cups. Dexter was always known as a loving, trusted friend and peacemaker who loved the Lord and was a member of Holy Grounds Tabernacle. He is preceded in death by a son, Lukas McBrayer and his father, Howell Dean McBrayer.
Survivors include his wife, Ashley Leigh Martin of Cumming; son, Nathaniel Smith of Cumming, Kylee McBrayer of Cumming; mother, Peggy Patrick Carbajal; brothers, David McBrayer, Derek McBrayer, William McBrayer; sisters, Deanna McBrayer, Miracle Suddeth, Anna McBrayer all of Dawsonville, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mattie and Randy Martin; brother-in-law, Josh Martin, all of Cumming.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, at 12:00 noon at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Patrick and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
