Vertie Lee Burruss

Vertie Lee Burruss, age 93, of Cumming, GA. passed away peacefully on November 1, 2015. Vertie loved her family, friends and her church family. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was retired from Siemen’s Electric.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Reeves Burruss and her sons, Jim and Dennis Burruss.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in law, Bobbie and Lamar Mullinax of Cumming; daughter-in-law, Sarah Burruss of Birmingham, AL; sisters-in-law, Dot Burruss of Cumming; sisters and brothers-in-law; Betty and Cliff Strickland of Gainesville, Lucille and Buddy Phillips of Cumming, Kathleen Pruitt of Cumming, Ineal and Ray Burton of Cumming, Edna Burruss of Cumming; brothers-in-law, Billy Burruss of Cumming, Larry and Mary Burruss of Cumming; grandchildren, Craig and Jane Mullinax, Stacy and Paul Smilnak, Sally and Bart Brown, Reeves and Leah Burruss; great grandchildren, Anna, Abby, Mary, Walter, Jim and Ben and extended family, Melanie and Waylon Shadburn, Katie, Madison and Nathan.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Sutton, Rev Rex Byrd and Rev. Greg Rollins will officiating.  Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
