Rodney “Rod” Ray Horrocks

Mr. Rodney “Rod” Ray Horrocks, age 57, of Sugar Hill passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at his residence, with family.

Memorial Mass will be 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with a reception following the service. Father Luis Alvarez will officiate. The family will receive friends 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the church.

Mr. Horrocks was born November 13, 1957 to the late Robert Kay & Shirley LaVonne Horrocks in San Pedro, California. He was a member and an employee of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and served in the Navy. Mr. Horrocks enjoyed spending time with his dog Garth, fishing, going to the beach and working in his yard.

Mr. Horrocks is survived by his wife of 26 years, Nanette M. Horrocks of Sugar Hill; daughters, Desiree Shay of Jackson, Missouri, Ralee M. Horrocks of Clearwater, Florida, and Bridget E. Horrocks of Sugar Hill; son, Nicholas Carl Ray Branster of New Jersey; and grandchildren, Christian Lee, Maria Jo, Jase Matthew, Rylano Thomas and Brooklyn Marie.
