Kenneth Woodrow Pruitt

Kenneth Woodrow Pruitt, age 75, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at Northeast GA Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Kenneth was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He was a retired truck driver and was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Davis; wives, Sue Pruitt and Annie Pruitt; sons, Danny Pruitt and Tim Pruitt; daughter; Shelia Dover; grandson, Matthew Pruitt; brothers, Dudley, Doug, and Bud Davis.

Kenneth is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Wayne Mooney, Dahlonega, GA, and Tammy Lovell, Dahlonega, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Glad and Hazel Davis, Dahlonega, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Jack Fortner, Dahlonega, GA, Joan Martin, Diane and Ronnie Ellis, and Christine Davis, all of Cleveland, GA; sisters-in-law, Shirl Davis and Charlene Davis; grandchildren, Jennifer and Josh Larson, Kelly Mooney, Bradley and Jana Fain, Jeremy Roberts, Eric Dover, and Phillip Dover; greatgrandchildren, Taylor, Isabella, Desiree, Shelby, and Alexis. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Kenneth are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Allen Passmore will officiate.

Interment will follow in Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 11 AM until 9 PM and again on Sunday from 10 AM until service time.
