Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Donald Edward Vaughn, age 62, of Pendergrass, who entered into rest Thursday, October 22, 2015. Mr. Vaughn was born in Albany, Georgia the son of the late Garnett and Gladys Carlan Vaughn, was a member of Holly Springs United Methodist Church and was the owner of Vaughn Construction Company. In addition to his parents, Mr. Vaughn is preceded by three brothers; Herby, Billy and Kenneth Vaughn.
Survivors include his wife Celestine “Skeeter” Parks Vaughn of Pendergrass, four sons; Michael Scott Vaughn and his wife Stephanie of Pendergrass, Clinton Kane Davis and his wife Stacy of Hoschton, William Rodney Davis and his wife Amy of Jefferson, Jacob Henry Davis and his wife Kay of Pendergrass. Daughter; Lindsey Lee Williams and her husband Robert of Gainesville. Two sisters; Helen Vaughn Gowan of Oregon and Myra Vaughn Willoughby of Villa Rica. Brother; Henry Vaughn of North Carolina. Eleven grandchildren also survive.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 24, 2015 from the Holly Springs United Methodist Church with Reverend Bob Lewis officiating. Grandchildren will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Church after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Donald to Holly Springs United Methodist Church, 7441 Holly Springs Road, Pendergrass, Georgia 30567.
