Mrs. Gertrude Pearline Crowe Holland, age 83 of 72 Hilltop Way, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Robert and Mary Kimbel Crowe, she was born August 16, 1932 in Habersham County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Toccoa.  She was employed with Dunaway Drugs Luncheonette for a number of years.  She was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Holland in 1999 and by a son, David Holland.

Survivors include a daughter, Marie Holland of Toccoa; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Deborah Holland of Atlanta, Georgia; step-son, Donnie Joe Holland of Toccoa; grandchildren, Cheyenne Norton, Crystal Garner, Karen Godsoe, Katrina Consendine and T.J. Holland; sixteen great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Cathy Crowe of Mt. Airy, Georgia; three sisters, Martha Thomley of Mt. Airy, Georgia, Elise Bruno of Tampa, Florida and Christine Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; special caregivers, LaDonna Fowler and Bobbie Jo Martin.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 24, 2 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Tommy Childress and The Reverend Bill Evans officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jayson Garner, Gerald Calhoun, Jay Fowler, Tony Bell and Glenn Farmer.

The family will be at the home on Hilltop Way and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Interment will be in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Gertrude Crowe Holland.
