Dudley Jennings Walker

Dudley Jennings Walker, 70, of Dahlonega, GA and Mars Hill, NC, died on October 20th, 2015, after a hard fought battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife Deede, son, Jennings (Lee), grandchildren, Isabelle, Anderson, Hinton, and Fletcher of Columbia, SC, as well as a brother, flip of Miami Beach, FL, and sister, Sally Coker (Bill) of Spartanburg, SC. Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Elmore Walker.

Denny was a proud graduate of the Citadel where he was named a member of Boo’s Honor Roll. Denny had a 35-year distinguished career in the pharmaceutical industry and later served as CEO of Walker Consultants. He was also a founding member of the Wolf Laurel Country Club.

A celebration of life will be held in Gainesville, GA on Friday, October 23rd. 2015  2:00 pm at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Dr. Tom Smiley and Reverend Jerry Gill will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to your favorite charity.
