Ruth Violet Davis, age 87 of 386 Berlin Rd., Homer, GA passed away Sunday Oct. 18, 2015.
Mr. Davis was the son of the late Jim Ray and Maude Jump Ray and was the widow of Howell Davis. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Baker and was a member of Bethany Christian Church, Homer, GA.
Survivors include a sister, Rose McConnell, Oakwood; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be 2 pm Thursday Oct. 22, 2015 at Bethany Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday Oct. 22, 2015 from 11 am till 1 pm at the funeral home.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of the arrangements.
