Evelie Dover Waldrup

Mrs. Evelie Dover Waldrup, age 76 of 40 Busha Street, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at her residence.

A daughter of the late James Kinard and Winnie Ruth Rickman Dover, she was born March 6, 1939 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life.  She was a homemaker and attended Highpoint Community Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Waldrup, two sisters, Sallie Mae Dover and Willie Ruth McCracken and by a brother, James Ray Dover.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Larry Barnhart of Clarkesville, Georgia, Shirley and Tim Richardson of Toccoa, Georgia and Sandra and Matt Calvin of Demorest, Georgia; son, Rickey Waldrup of Toccoa; six grandchildren, Wesley Richardson, Kevin Waldrup, Ryan Richardson, Jayanna Adams, Brensley Adams and Bella Barnhart; four great-grandchildren, Kevin Waldrup, Jr., Brian Waldrup, Katie Sellers and Caleb Richardson; brother, William Dover of Calcium, New York.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 16, 4 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Mr. Jeff Carter officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Matt Calvin, Marc Adams, Blake Moore, Larry Welborn, Kevin Waldrup and Ryan Richardson.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Interment will be in the Toccoa City Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Evelie Dover Waldrup.
