Helen Haskell McGahee

Helen Haskell McGahee, 90 of Gainesville, GA formerly of Jacksonville, FL. Passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015.

Born on August 1, 1925 in White Plains, NY. Mrs. McGahee had lived most of her life in Jacksonville having moved to Gainesville in 2000. She was a member of Southside Christian Church Disciples of Christ.

She was the daughter of the late Friend Pitts Haskell and Gertrude Hildreth Haskell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. McGahee. Mrs. McGahee celebrated her 67^th wedding anniversary on October 10, 2015.

Mrs. McGahee is survived by her daughter and son in law, Linda McGahee Pilcher and Alan Pilcher of Gainesville; granddaughter and husband, Stephanie Lynn and Scott Stephens of Burlington, N.C.; great grandson, Andrew Conner Stephens of Burlington, N.C. and great granddaughter, Anna Kathryn Stephens of Burlington, N.C.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Pkwy., Ste. 115, Gainesville, GA 30501
