Betty Loggins Grizzle

Betty Loggins Grizzle, 77, of Fairborn, Ohio, formerly of Gainesville, Ga., passed away, Monday, October 12, 2015, at her home following a period of declining health. 

Mrs. Grizzle, was born November 12, 1937, to the late Charlie and Mary Lou Johnson Loggins.  She was a 1955 graduate of River Bend School and a member of Dewberry #2 Baptist Church.  She was retired from Kmart in Ohio, where she have lived the last 40 yrs.  She enjoyed life to the fullest; her laughter was contagious, while her favorite pass time was playing bingo with her loving husband, Arthur Grizzle.   She was a loving and caring wife, mother and sister.   Mrs. Grizzle is preceded in death by her sisters, Charlene Loggins, Irene Gilstrap, Amanda Beck, Idelle Fowler, and brother Newman Loggins.

 She is survived by her husband of 59 years, daughter Petra Browser, Savannah, Ga., sister Mary Nell White,  sister and brother in law, Genie and Billy Whelchel, brothers and sisters in law, Ray and Susan Loggins, Howell and Sally Loggins all of Gainesville.  Sister in law, June Grizzle, Dahlonega, brother in law and sister in law, Henry and Nellie Grizzle, Dahlonega,  several nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Little and Davenport Funeral Home, with the Reverend Roy Lee Mitchell officiating.   Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.    Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
