Ricky Neal Jones

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Rev. Ricky Neal Jones, age 59 of Baldwin. Rev. Jones passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00am, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bob Garrett, Rev. Bill Trotter and Rev. Kenneth Pilcher officiating. Interment will follow in Christian Baptist Church Cemetery.

Rev. Jones was born in Putnam County, Georgia on January 24, 1959 to Richard Jones, now deceased and Joyce Sunshine Roberts Jones. He worked many years a truck driver, more recently with Candler Concrete and Ward Brothers Concrete. A true man of God, He accepted the calling to the ministry and preached the Gospel in several of the area churches. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Vickie Wilson Jones and father, Richard Jones

Survivors include his wife, Gail Guynn Jones of Baldwin; mother, Joyce Sunshine Jones of Gainesville; daughter, Melissa Green (Walter) of Gainesville; sons, Joseph Jones (Pam), Cleveland; Alan Jones ( Kristy) Houston, TX; step son, Wesley Joyce, Baldwin; sisters, Vicky Rider, Gainesville and Elaine Jones, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Heather Green, Matthew Green, Andrew Jones, Korey Jones, AnnaGrace Jones, Kelsey Jones, Ryley Jones and MaCayla Jones, step grandson Shawn Joyce
