Eunice Gravitt Cantrell

Mrs. Eunice Gravitt Cantrell, 92, of Gainesville died Saturday October 10, 2015 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Born in Crisp County, Mrs. Cantrell had lived in Hall County for most of her life.  She was the daughter of the late Reggie and Rosa Overby Gravitt.  She was retired from Chicopee Manufacturing Company where she worked in the weave shop and was a member of Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Lisa Cantrell, Gainesville; grandchildren, Phillip and Lydia Cantrell, Baldwin; Callie Cantrell and Katie Cantrell, both of Gainesville; brothers, Lloyd Gravitt and Boyd Gravitt, both of Gainesville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Cantrell is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Willard Cantrell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday October 13, 2015 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Terry Rice will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday October 12, 2015 from 6-8 p.m.
