Jim W. Bowden

Mr. Jim W. Bowden, age 77, of Commerce, GA died Friday, October 9, 2015 at Northridge Medical Center. Mr. Bowden was born in Louisburg, NC to the late Claude W. and Mary Louise Bailey Bowden. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Bowden was a retired meat cutter.

Mr. Bowden is survived by his wife, Becky Ward Bowden of Commerce; children, Rita Andrews (William) of Millbrook, AL, Derrick DeLee (Dyan) of Homer, Necha Jording (Kevin) of Secor, IL and Will DeLee of Gainesville; sister, Carolyn Johnson of Bailey, NC; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 4 PM, Monday, October 12 at Indian Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Nate Bunner and Rev. Bill Stacey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 5 PM.
