Ronald “Ron” N. Ringer

Memorial services for Ronald “Ron” N. Ringer, age 73 of Toccoa will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 4:00 PM from the Level Grove Baptist Church in Cornelia with Rev. Brian James officiating. His remains will later be entombed in their family mausoleum in Venice Memorial Park, Venice, Florida.

Mr. Ringer passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness.

Born in Pomeroy, Iowa on January 10, 1942, Mr. Ringer was the son of the late Wayne and Ann Teyen Ringer.  He was retired from Climatrol Pool Enclosures where he worked in all aspects of the company during his tenure.  Mr. Ringer was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church where he attended until his health declined.  He was an avid woodworker and he loved music.  Mr. Ringer loved being in his workshop and listening to his favorite tunes while working on a piece of furniture.  He had five grandchildren that he worshiped the ground they walked on; he took advantage of every opportunity to spend as much time with them as he could.  Ron will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his wife Cheri Lynn Hertweck Ringer of Toccoa, daughter Ronda Ringer Roberts and husband Jamie Roberts of Toccoa, son Eric Rhyneer of Missouri, sister Bea Artz of Demorest and Karen Conrad and husband Dean Conrad of Rudy, Arkansas, as well as grandchildren R. J., Ava, Zach, Lennox, and Violet.
