Joyce Nell Kent

Ms. Joyce Nell Kent, age 77, of Jefferson, GA died Monday, October 5, 2015 at her residence.  Ms. Kent was born in Commerce to the late Andrew and Annie Bell Archer Jackson.  She was a member of Baptist Tabernacle and retired from the University of Georgia.

Ms. Kent is survived by her daughters, Tami Autry of Danielsville, Dana Presley of Maysville, and Deon Kent of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 8 at 2 PM at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Watson and Rev. Milford Daniels officiating.  Interment will follow in Howington Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6 to 8 PM.
