Leeman Lee Davenport

Leeman Lee Davenport, age 89, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at Gold City Convalescent Center in Dahlonega following a period of declining health.

Leeman was born in Fannin County, GA October 15, 1925 and had lived in Lumpkin County for many years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Leeman was the son of the late Tate and Essie Tipton Davenport and was also preceded in death by brothers, Lewis Davenport and Herbert Davenport.

He is survived by his brother, Ernest Davenport, Greensboro, GA; sisters, Evelyn Foster and Darlene Jones, both of Dahlonega, GA. A number of other relatives also survive.

Mr. Davenport was cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
