Barbara B. Anderson

Mrs. Barbara B. Anderson, age 81, of Gainesville passed away, Friday, October 2, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton, surrounded by her family. 
  
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2015 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at 2:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 5755 Mallory Road, Fairburn/Union City, Georgia.  Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate.  The family will receive friends 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home. 
  
Mrs. Anderson was born June 14, 1934 to the late John Willis (Bill) & Audra Kate Brown in Atlanta.  She was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church and former member of New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville and Hapeville First Baptist Church in Hapeville.  Mrs. Anderson was retired from South Fulton Hospital, where she worked in the Medical Records Department.  She enjoyed attending arts and craft festivals in the mountains. 
  
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) E. Anderson.  She is survived by son & daughter-in-law, Jeffery & Pauline Anderson of Gainesville; son, Kelly M. Anderson of Flowery Branch; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and sisters, Judy B. Brannon of Stockbridge and Ellen B. Cawthon of Hapeville.
