Lurlene Brady Hart

Lurlene Brady Hart, age 83 of Alto, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at her residence.

Born in Banks County on January 26, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Ben R. and Ella Farmer Brady Fricks.  She was a member of Yonah Congregational Holiness Church and was a homemaker.  She was a loving wife, mother and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Rowe Truman Hart; sister, Betty Ann Duckett; brothers, Eugene “Buck”, James and Carson Brady.

Surviving are daughter, Joan Hart Hix of Alto; sisters and brothers-in-law, Christine Blair of Mt. Airy, Mamie (Ron) Arrendale of Clarkesville, Irene Parker of Orange Park, Florida and Geraldine (Andrew) Cragg of Starke, Florida; sisters-in-law and spouse, Virginia Brady of Mt. Airy, Ruth (Buddy) Underwood of Alto and Hazel Crumley of Forest Park, Georgia; brothers-in-law and spouses, Grady (Gail) Hart of Alto and Kenneth (Geraldine) Hart of Cornelia; special cousin and caregiver, Barbara Davis of Demorest; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and caregivers.

Funeral services are 2 pm Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Yonah Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Fred Enlow and Rev. John Umberhant officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3-8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
