James “Jimmy” Bales, 62, of Lula, GA passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015.
A lifetime resident of Hall County, Jimmy was born on March 15, 1953. He was the son of the late Albert Bales Sr. and Minnie Crawford Bales. He was self-employed as a truck driver. Jimmy was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Phillip Bales.
Mr. Bales is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cheryl Bales of Lula; son and daughter in law, Andy and Holly Bales of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Andrew Bales, Addisyn bales both of Flowery Branch as well as other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 20105 at Gillsville Baptist Church. Rev. Jason Buffington will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Bales will lie in state at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour on Sunday.
