Curtistine Baird Massey Bruce

Mrs. Curtistine Baird Massey Bruce, age 90, of Nicholson, GA died Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Northridge Medical Center.  Mrs. Bruce was born in Commerce to the late Rev. Jabel and Hattie Ford Baird.  She was a member of River of Life Worship Center and a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bruce was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Fleming Massey and daughter, Deborah Cecelia Massey.

Mrs. Bruce is survived by her daughters, Elaine Massey of Commerce, Angela Cornell of Nicholson, Lesa Wilson of Watkinsville and Greta Dudley of Commerce; sons, Dean Massey of Franklin and Curtis Bruce of Port Richey, FL; sister, Ester Summers of Bartow, FL; 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, October 3 at River of Life Worship Center with Pastor Bobby Ivester and Rev. Marty Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 5 to 8 PM.
