Richard Thaddis Daley

Graveside services for Rev. Richard Thaddis Daley, age 89 of Clarkesville will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 2, 2015 from the Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Don Samples officiating. 

Rev. Daley passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at his residence. 

Born in Jenkins County, Georgia on May 28, 1926, Rev. Daley was the son of the late Lester and Irene Daley.  Rev. Daley attended Furman University and Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.  He preached at many local churches including Head of Tennessee Baptist Church and Wolffork Baptist Church. Most recently Rev. Daley was a member and attended Hollywood Baptist Church.   

Survivors include his wife Martha Adair Daley of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Carmen and Roy Lee of Lilburn, daughters Vivian Eiland of Clarkesville and Cindy Bunten of Buffalo, Minnesota, sons Timothy Daley and Jonathan Daley of Punta Gorda, Florida, sister Marie Harkey and sister and brother in law Jean and Vernon Burkey, as well as seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
