Mary Brock Greene

Mary Brock Greene, age 86, of Baldwin, GA passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015. Mrs. Greene was born in Homer, Ga on May 17, 1929 to the late William Oscar Brock, Sr. and Ruby Mae Savage Brock.

Mrs. Greene was a member of The Torch Worship Center, and was a well-known artist. She was recognized for her work in earlier years by then Governor Zell Miller.

Mrs. Greene is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Claud Greene; son, Claud Lamar Greene of Covington, GA.; grandchildren, Sherry Greene, Brandy Pollard and Bryan Greene; and great-grandchildren, Shelby Conners and Chase Conners. She was the last of her immediate family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel in Baldwin with Rev. Mike Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in the Leatherwood Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the funeral home.
