Mary Jo Bryant, age 70, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Wellstar Community Hospice.
Mrs. Bryant was born in White County to the late Lee and Lucille Black Mize. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vivian Vandiver. Mrs. Bryant was a retired school teacher and a member of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jim Bryant, Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Tim and Anita Bryant, Cincinnati, OH; son, Ben Bryant, Warner Robbins; daughter and son in law, LeAnna and Anant Anantaraman, Marietta; sister, Kathy Mize, Cleveland; grandchildren, Katherine Bryant, Matthew Bryant, Grady Bryant, Avi Anantaraman, Raj Anantaraman; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Doug Merck and the Rev. Andy Courson will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Yonah Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Monday at the funeral home.
