James Pittman

Funeral services for, James  Pittman age 73 of Gainesville, Ga. will be held Sunday September  27,2015 at 2:00 pm in Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held September 26, 2015  from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park cemetery South. The Rev. Henry Loggins and Dr. James Hatcher will officiate. Mr. Pittman died September 25, 2015 at his residence. He was member of Dewberry Baptist Church #1. He was a retired corrections officer for the state of Georgia. He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Betsy and Randall Chandler, his son, Steve Pittman, all of Gainesville. His sister, Julie Ann Palmour of Cleveland. Grandsons, Ben and Josh Chandler. Strickland Funeral Home, Clermont.
