Michael “Jack” Gleason, age 54, passed away in the comfort of his home in Alpharetta, Ga. September 22, 2015. He was born November 8, 1960 in Pahl, Germany and raised by his adoptive parents, Eugene and Earline Gleason. He will be remembered for his larger than life personality that touched the lives of people from Redwood City, Ca. to Forsyth County, Ga. He shared his passion for life with others through his music and community activism. He lived by the philosophy that, “"Impossible" is a degree of difficulty ~ set by imagination for lack of motivation.”
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Anna Vaughn-Gleason; children Alex and Brigette Gleason; twin sister, Jill Danne; sister, Lisa Gleason-Ta; foster-sister, Andrea Smith, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins in Alabama. He is also survived by his loving German family he was fortunate to find and be embraced by, Mama Hilda Ostrander; brother, Ronald Shroeder, sister Sabine Pecina, and their families.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robert Howard will officiate.
