Eloise Christine Weaver, 79, formerly of Gainesville passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Thunderbolt Care and Rehab Center in Savannah following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. Weaver was born on September 1, 1936 in Gainesville to the late Garland Bryan McCrary and Lena Pirkle McCrary. She was a homemaker and of Methodist faith. She enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, feeding her birds and squirrels but more than anything she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Porter Weaver and sister, Sybil Dunfee.
Mrs. Weaver is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Victor and Beverly Weaver of Savannah; sons, Mark Weaver from Cordele, GA and Scott Weaver from Boquete, Panama; daughter and son-in-law, Joanna and Jim Puckett of Fitzgerald, GA; granddaughters, Courtney Alverson and Hanna Puckett; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Villyard of Gainesville.
