Mrs. Alvastine Moore, age 83, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015.
Mrs. Moore was born in Consauga, Tennessee to the late Newt and Emma Wooten Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Moore; daughters, Myra Jean Moore and Leslie McIntyre; and brother, Rondal Jackson. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a member of County Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons and daughters in law, Larry and Mellisa Moore, Cleveland; and Alan and Christine Moore, Decatur; granddaughter, Gina Sweeney, Cleveland; grandson, Archie Moore, Decatur; great-grandsons, Jackson Roberson, Sugar Hill, Silas Roberson, Sugar Hill, and Maddox Sweeney, Cornelia; great-granddaughters, Lily Roberson, Sugar Hill, Emma Roberson, Sugar Hill, and Ava Sweeney, Cornelia; brother, Jack Newt Jackson, Jr., Cleveland; and sisters, Reba Alexander, Jewanda Satterfield, and Annetta Alexander, all of Cleveland.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from County Line Baptist Church. The Rev. Brian Satterfield, Rev. Mike Irvin, and Rev. Matt Stowers will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday, September 21, 2015 at the funeral home.
