William Arthur Braidwood

Mr. William Arthur Braidwood, age 85, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at his residence.

A son of the late William H. and Beatrice Rix Braidwood, he was born January 27, 1930 in Royal Oak, Michigan where he lived most of his life and in Toccoa for the past 21 years.  Mr. Braidwood was a home missionary with the Sioux Indians in South Dakota and also worked in retail management for a number of years.  He was a graduate of Lansing Community College and Owosso Bible College in Michigan where he received a Bachelor of Theology degree.

Survivors include his wife, Zola Kidder Braidwood of the home; a brother, Duane Braidwood of Canon, Michigan; and a sister, Penny Klawon of Fort Gratiot, Michigan.

The family will have a memorial service in Michigan at a later date.
