Ardella Mae Holland Baker

            Mrs. Ardella Mae Holland Baker, age 80 of Murrayville, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend A. B. Stewart will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

            Mrs. Baker was born February 11, 1935 in Fort Payne, Alabama to the late Jim Holland and Viola Griffith Kenimer.  She was retired from Plum Brook Farms and was a member of IAC Church.  Ardella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Vernis Baker and sons, David Bryant and Jimmy Jones.

            Mrs. Baker is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Martha & Jimmy Smallwood of Flowery Branch and Doris & Ronnie Norris of Murrayville, her sons, Clifford Jones and Michael Ewing, 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, sister & brother-in-law, Mary & Roy Leathers and many nieces and nephews.
