Mr. Guy Franklin Hornbeck, age 78, of Murrayville, Georgia, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 11, 2015.
Celebration of life services will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Northlake Baptist Church. Reverend Danny Jones will officiate.
Guy was born September 19, 1936 in DeWitt, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Hornbeck and Blanche Mildred Weiner Hornbeck. Guy served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Northlake Baptist Church in Gainesville. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth H. Epnett and a brother, John William Hornbeck.
Guy is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Bobbi Dowdy Hornbeck of Murrayville; daughter, Valerie Hornbeck of Dunedin, FL; sons, Guy Hornbeck, Jr. and Tony Hornbeck both of Clearwater, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Brian Miller of Zephyrhills, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Dana Hornbeck of Dahlonega, GA; mother of his children, Wanda Johnson Hornbeck, Clearwater, FL; grandchildren, Keith, Chris, Brianna, Brian Jr., Oriana, Gregory, Lily and Hayden; sister, Margaret Van Brunt of Sheridan, AR; and also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Northlake Baptist Church Building Fund 4823 Thompson Bridge Road Gainesville, GA 30506.
