Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Rev. Harold Crawford 84 of Commerce who passed away Saturday Sept. 12, 2015
He was a graduate of the Immanuel Baptist “Theological Seminary and held an associate degree in Bible. He was a graduate of Mercer University with a special certificate in advanced certificate in Christian education. He served as Pastor of the Center Baptist Church and Community Baptist Church and was chaplain coordinator of the Tri-County Ministerial Association. He also worked with Ivie Funeral Home.
His survivors include a son and daughter in law Gordon and Debbie Crawford of Commerce and 2 daughters and son in laws Patricia and Terry Smith of Jefferson and Pennie and Derek Jones of Commerce, 3 sisters Eva Ingram, Reba Wood and Mary Bruce all of Commerce 14 Grandchildren 18 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, from the Madison Street Baptist Church with Rev. David Harbin Rev. Dwayne Owensby and Rev. Dayton Logan officiating with burial in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Monday evening 5 to 8.
