Dean Bryant

Dean Bryant, 82, of Murrayville passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

                Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 5:30 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Wallace Pruitt will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

                Mr. Bryant was born on November 10, 1932 in Murrayville to the late George Dewey Bryant and Mary McGinnis Bryant. He graduated from Lumpkin County High School in 1951 and later served in the United States Air Force for four years and received two medals; Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. He was retired from Lockheed-Martin and was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister and brother-in-law, Eloise Jane Bryant Coleman and Rev. Clyde Coleman.

                Mr. Bryant is survived by his son, Donnie Lee Bryant of Murrayville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Freda Bryant of Gillsville, Downey and Carolyn Bryant and Sidney and Martha Bryant of Murrayville; numerous nieces and nephews.
