Beulah Hunt York

Beulah Hunt York, age 94 of Mt. Airy, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015.

Born in Rabun County on December 17, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Wesley and Lona Addis Hunt. Mrs. York was a retired cook and of the Holiness faith.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Curtis Hill and Clarence York; daughter, Fannie Mary Lou Hill; brother, Johnny Hunt, and sister, Ruby Lee Stepp.  

Surviving are daughter, Jeanette Kinsey; son, George L. Hill; sister, Irene Hunt; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services are 3:30 pm Monday, September 14, 2015, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Lester Haynes and Rev. Bill Free officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Batesville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 am until the funeral hour on Monday.
