Mildred Doss Jordan

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mildred Doss Jordan, age 91 of Maysville, Georgia who passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015.  Mrs. Jordan was the daughter of the late Embry Doss and Flonie Black Doss.

Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her husband, Erastus Jordan, son Michael Jordan, son-in-law Pat Hall, brother James Doss and sister Bernice Carr.

Survivors include two daughters, Melodee Hall and Polly (Hillyer) Godfrey, both of Maysville.  daughter-in-law, Barbara Jordan also of Maysville.  She is also survived by by  grandchildren Keith and Kyle Hall, Michelle Madden and Marie Godfrey, two great-grandchildren, Patrick Madden and Ariel Hall and special nephew, Jeff Carr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 12, 2015 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend J.D. Sosebee officiating with burial to follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce, Georgia.  The family will receive friends 5 – 8 P.M. Friday, September 11, 2015 at the funeral home.
