Mr. Robert Francis Sturm, age 73, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Buffalo, New York on February 4, 1942 to parents William and Florence Brost Sturm, Robert had lived in Lumpkin County since 1978. He was a retired registered mail clerk in the United States Post Office in Duluth, Georgia where he handled all the registered mail from throughout the southeast. MR. Sturm was also employed at University of North Georgia from 1978-1982. He was a United States Army veteran having served his country in Vietnam. Mr. Sturm was of the Lutheran faith.
Mr. Sturm is survived by his wife Virginia Czarnocki Sturm of the home, sons; Robert Jr. (Jean) Sturm of Gainesville and Tim (Christie) Sturm of Flowery Branch. He is also survived by grandchildren; Ashley Sturm of Dawsonville, Dillon Sturm of Toccoa and Brett and Nick Sturm of Flowery Branch.
