Eva G. Irvin Voyles

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Eva G. Irvin Voyles, age 101, of Jefferson, who passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Mrs. Voyles was born in Jackson County, a daughter to the late Jesse Elbert Irvin and the late Mary C. Clemens Irvin. Mrs. Voyles was a Homemaker, was formerly employed at Katherine’s Kitchen and was a member of the Talmo Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Voyles was preceded in death by her husband, Horace C. Voyles, daughter, Betty Stephens, sons, Lewis Voyles and Billy Voyles and all of her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Lee, Dahlonega, Geraldine Brooks, Seneca, SC, sons, Robert Voyles, Cleveland, Harold Voyles, Jefferson, Steve Voyles, Royston, Elbert Voyles of Cornelia, and numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery with Jimmy Voyles, Louis Lee, Adam Lee, Keith Lee and Mike Lee honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8pm at Evans Funeral Home.
