Billy Gordon O'Kelley

Billy Gordon O’Kelley, age 54 of 45 Hill Place, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton.

A son of Allene Simmons O’Kelley and the late Johnny Ragsdale O’Kelley, he was born May 27, 1961 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived most of his life.  He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, was an electrician with Lee Arrendale Prison and was of the Baptist faith.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jake Gordon and Hattie Ann O’Kelley and Red and Myrtle Simmons.

Survivors include his mother, Allene Simmons O’Kelley of Toccoa; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie and Matthew Mize of Valdosta, Georgia and Shae and Chasten Parker of Toccoa; grandson, Haiden Parker; aunt, Lucille O’Kelley of Toccoa; a number of cousins. 

No services planned. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 PM until 7 PM.
