Johnny Lee Cannon

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Johnny Lee Cannon, age 80  of Jefferson, Georgia, who entered into rest Friday, September 4, 2015.  Mr. Cannon was born in Talmo, Georgia the son of the late John E. Cannon and the late Louise Lewis Cannon and was retired from John Mansfield Corporation.  In addition to his parents, Johnny is preceded by a brother Jack Cannon and wives Eleanor Josephine “Jo” Browning Cannon and Peggy Cannon.

Survivors include two daughters; Kathy Jones and her husband Craig of Gray, Georgia and Debra Cannon of Jefferson.  Brother; Heavy Cannon of Pendergrass and a sister; Joan Turner of Winder.  Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Norris officiating with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville, Georgia.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, September 8, 2015, 5 – 8 P.M..
