Polly Taylor Seawright

Mrs. Polly Taylor Seawright, age 84, of 1575 Sunshine Church Road, Toccoa, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015, at her residence.

A daughter of the late John H. and Irene Hemphill Taylor, she was born July 19, 1931 in Franklin County, Georgia where she lived most of her life. She was a member of Sunshine United Methodist Church. For a long number of years, Mrs. Seawright ministered alongside her husband, The Reverend Ryan Seawright, who passed away in July 2015. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Ryan Seawright, a daughter-in-law Cynthia Seawright, and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Tara Seawright of New York, NY; a sister, Barbara Hallford of Toccoa; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 2:00 PM, at Sunshine United Methodist Church with The Reverend Charles Wilson and The Reverend Jack Nelson officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, September 8th, at Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM.

Interment will be in Sunshine United Methodist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Dr. Bill Hyndman officiating at the graveside.
