Thomas James Williams, age 61, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.
Thomas was born in Ashburn, GA November 5, 1953 and had lived in Dahlonega for the past 20 years. He was a cabinet maker and was of the Baptist faith.
Thomas was the son of the late Marvin and Betty Williams and was also preceded in death by brothers, Billy Gene Williams and Wayne Broxton; and his sister, Elaine Hess
He is survived by his wife Brenda Williams, Dahlonega, GA; children, Allen and Selena Williams, Gainesville, GA, Richie and Dana Williams, Tifton, GA, Rodney and Michelle Price, Dahlonega, GA, Janice Bryan, Dahlonega, GA, Patty and David Posten, Dahlonega, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bill Taylor, Arabi, GA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws, Jeffery and Ernestine Patterson, Dahlonega, GA, Michael and Margaret Patterson, Dahlonega, GA, Betty Patterson and Tim Worley, Cumming, GA. 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Thomas are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.
Rev. Phill Miller, Elder Dan Hall, and Rev. Shane Savage will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 6 PM until 9 PM, all day on Friday, and again on Saturday until service time.
