Ernest Lan Gaddy

Mr. Ernest Lan Gaddy, 79, of Lula, Ga. passed away on Wednesday September 2, 2015.

A lifetime resident of Hall County, Mr. Gaddy was the son of Hardy and Mabel Taylor Gaddy. Mr. Gaddy was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and he retired from Sear's as a display manager. Mr. Gaddy attended Northlake Baptist Church. 

Mr. Gaddy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Gaddy of Lula; daughter and son in law, Lori and David Lucius of Lula; grandchildren (the loves of his life), Scott Talley, Wes Talley both of Lula; sisters, Helen McDonald of Dahlonega, Mary Jo Reed of Pendergrass, Jane Osborne of Carnesville; brother in law, Lee Smith of Gainesville; sisters in law, Patsy Baum of Gainesville, Mary Ann Lee of Gainesville, Martha Hayes of Oakwood and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Jones and Rev. Earl Pirkle will officiate. Interment will be in Westview Cemetery in Lula, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Northlake Baptist Church Building Fund, 4823 Thompson Bridge Rd. Gainesville, GA 30506
