Mrs. Inez Randolph Leverette, age 82 of Gainesville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 4, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Scotty Randolph, Reverend Isaac Whitehead, Jr., Reverend H. Champale Brown, Reverend Darneou Randolph and Reverend Gail White. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Leverette was born May 20, 1933 in Gillsville, Georgia to the late John Randolph, Sr. and Margaret Pace Randolph. She married Sylvester Leverette in 1950 and to this union 10 children were born. Inez retired from Brenau University after 44 years of service and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first born son, William Don Leverette, her daughter, Linda Leverette, her beloved husband, Sylvester Leverette, 8 sisters and 7 brothers. Inez had a love of family first of all, then working in her garden, her soap operas, watching westerns and her beautiful bell collection.
Mrs. Leverette leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, David (Carol) Leverette, Rickey Leverette, Michael (Lynn) Leverette, her daughters, Yvonne (Larry) Robinson, Barbara (Chris) Hamilton and Zelda Leverette, her grandchildren, Demond (Danyelle) Leverette, Marques (Wendy) Leverette, Brittney Goudelock, Brandy Leverette, Andrea Goudelock and Ramon Leverette, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and special friend, Mrs. Annie Williams.
