Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Amanda Mason Little, age 96 of Gainesville. Amanda died peacefully Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her husband,William Milton Little and daughter,Sally Little Nall. Amanda was a homemaker for most of her life and was a wonderful cook , seamstress and pianist. She was a member of Athens First United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for over 30 years .
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Sue and Hal Sims of Gainesville; grandchildren, Elizabeth Jackson, Will Nall, Emily Patch, Christian Sims and Joshua Sims as well as 5 great grandchildren.
Memorial services are scheduled for 4:00pm, Thursday,September 3, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dr. Phil Demore officiating. The family will receive guests beginning at 3:00pm.
