Funeral services for Andrew Sutton, age 84 of the Batesville Community, Clarkesville, will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Providence Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. ??
Mr. Sutton passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at his residence. ??
Born on August 26, 1931 in Habersham County, Mr. Sutton was the son of the late Frank and Essie Mae Allen Sutton. Mr. Sutton was a self employed farmer raising poultry and cattle. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sutton is preceded in death by son Thomas William Sutton, daughter Jannell Sutton, brother Ralph Sutton, and sister Lona Brooks. ??
Survivors include his wife Betty Ann Adair Sutton, daughter and son in law Abby and John Jackson, sons and daughters in law Larry and Brenda Sutton, Sam and Tina Sutton, sons Dave Sutton and Tony Sutton all of Clarkesville, sister Rosalie Free of Clarkesville, nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. ??
