Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday September 1, 2015 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Johnny Ray Gee, age 66 of Lula. The Rev. Anthony Cook will officiate. Interment will follow at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Gee passed away Saturday August 29.
Mr. Gee was born in Jackson County to the late W.T. and Gladys (Ash) Gee Grizzle. A longtime resident of Banks County, Mr. Gee was a longtime employee of Shepherd Construction Company in Gainesville and was
of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Gee was also preceded in death by his brother, Roger Gee; sisters, Pamela Gee and Cookie Gee.
Survivors include daughters and son in law, Tonya and Phillip Kinsey, Gainesville, Crystal Hall, Toccoa; sisters and brothers in laws, Sandra and James Wood, Gainesville, Sue and Gerald Smith, Winterville; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
