Catherine Bentley Bowden

Catherine Bentley Bowden,  age 76,  Toccoa, GA passed away Friday, August 28, 2015.

Mrs. Bowden was born in Stephens County, GA on January 29, 1939 to the late Pope and Mary Wilson Bentley. She was a retired emergency medical technician and was a member of the Sunshine United Methodist Church and Red Hill Chapter #417 of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Bowden was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and a dedicated friend to everyone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Cronin.

Mrs. Bowden is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Stanley Bowden of Toccoa; daughter, Kay Hudson of Thomaston, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and LaDonna Bowden of Barnesville, GA, Tommy and Sherry Bowden  of Griffin, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Maricé Bentley of Toccoa, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Sunshine United Methodist Church with Dr. William Hyman officiating.

The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall after the service.
