Deborah “Debbie” Hawkins Barron

Funeral services for Deborah “Debbie” Hawkins Barron, age 62, of Clarkesville, will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015, at 3:00 PM from the Hillside Memorial Chapel with Rev. Connie Berry officiating.  Interment will follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Sunday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
Mrs. Barron passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015. 

Born in Gainesville, Georgia on April 6, 1953, Mrs. Barron was the daughter of  Sue and Don Yawn.  Mrs. Barron grew up in the Atlanta area and was a 1971 graduate of Shamrock High School in Decatur.  Mrs. Barron was employed by the Habersham County Clerk of Courts office and previously worked at Sears Roebuck & Company and State Farm Insurance Company.   
   
Mrs. Barron was preceded in death by brother Gerald Hawkins and sister Judy Piotrowski. 

Survivors include her husband Jerry Barron of Clarkesville; son Brandon Barber of Gainesville; mother and step father Sue and Don Yawn of Cordele; mother in law Lillie Marie Barron of Clarkesville; brother and sister in law Greg and Sharon Hawkins of Winder, sister in law Nichole Hawkins of Snellville; sister and brother in law Lisa and Mike Moore of Snellville; sister in law and husband Jane and Doug Franklin of Demorest; grandson Devin Barber of Gainesville; and a number of nieces and nephews. 
Debbie will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
