Donald Ray Wheeler

Donald Ray Wheeler, age 67, of Demorest, GA, passed away on Tuesday August 25, 2015.

Mr. Wheeler was born in the Fairview community of Demorest on July 19, 1948 to the late Jim Henry and Eula Mae Nation Wheeler. He worked in the timber industry and was employed with McAllister Tree Service. Mr. Wheeler was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Hugh Edward Price; brothers, Howard Wheeler and Johnny Wheeler.

Mr. Wheeler is survived by his daughter, Alecia Wheeler of Lakemont; sons, Daryl “Buck” Wheeler and Corey Wheeler, both of Cleveland; sister, Barbara Shook of Cornelia: sisters and brothers in law, Maevrie and Wayne English of Demorest, and Patsy and Claude Roberts of Demorest; brothers and sisters in law, Jimmy and Diane Wheeler of Clayton, Chester and Debra Wheeler of Demorest, Clifford and Sandy Wheeler, of Demorest; brother Henry Wheeler; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Wheeler Family Cemetery, Fairview Community with Rev. Bill Trotter officiating.

The family will receive friends at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chaeel from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM prior to the service on Wednesday, August 26, 2015.
